Review: Revlon ColorStay Ultimate Suede

I promised in an earlier post that I would review a couple of items I purchased in my haul a while back and the first item on my list is...

Revlon's Colorstay Lipstick:
Texture and Appearance

When applying the lipstick, the product is very smooth, though I would say that it requires being built up to achieve the best colour (otherwise it has a more 'stain like' effect). Another thing I should mention is that you must, must, must! Keep your lips moisturised before using this. If your lips are dry, this product is very unforgiving and it will show.

Once the product dries, however, I personally found my lips felt very sticky. I've never experienced this with a lipstick before, and I can't really say it's something I want in a lipstick - so maybe Revlon have a little improving in that department. Otherwise, the colour is really nice (I have 'Backstage' or '035'). There isn't a huge range of colours just yet, but perhaps they will in time. The colours they do have, on the other hand, I don't think will be to everyones taste and I would definitely recommend people try them before purchasing. My sister, for example, absolutely hates this colour I have, while I love it. Each to their own, I guess.

Review: Glossybox - November 2013

So I promised to do a review of the glossy box I was to receive this month, and here it is:

The box comes very beautifully wrapped using pink ribbon, black tissue paper to encase the products and more shredded black tissue paper beneath the products. It creates a really nice effect and I kind of felt like I was receiving a present… from myself!
Inside, the products are carefully placed inside, some of which were further wrapped in pretty packaging (as you can see on the left, on of the products was stored in a pale pink ribbon drawn bag - a very nice touch, if I do say so myself).

An 'Eat Me' to Storenvy

Hello Fellow Wandering Friends!

Today I would like to briefly talk about a website called Storenvy, and talk about a few exciting updates!

So firstly:

For those of you who are not well aquatinted with the site, it has a very similar feel to that of Etsy, where members sell various things, from music to clothes to handmade crafts.

What I really liked about this website was the user friendly nature, and interest catered features which suggest stores that might interest you particularly. It seems to me that this site really would appeal to those who like to be slightly quirky or individual about their sense of style and tastes.
