Fashion Post | Dressing On A Low Budget

Let's be honest for a moment, for those who have a painfully low budget for any kind of luxuries, dressing in what is 'fashionable' at the time is incredibly hard. There are so many shops out on the high street that make young, impressionable girls (and boys!) feel they have to have what's splashed across the glossy window fronts. Whether your parents can't/won't give you an allowance or your simply not able to get any work, this all contributes to not feeling 'in'.

Obviously, people shouldn't feel the need to follow the crowd and it's altogether much more admirable that some defect from the norm and create their own unique sense of style. But what if you want to have the 'basics', as it were? Some fashion pieces that will last a while and remain fashionable? 

You see? This is very difficult to do. Sure, there are places which cheaper clothes such as Primark, F21 or even H&M, but guaranteeing the quality and longevity of these clothes is difficult to do.

So this brings us back to the question: How do you dress on a low budget?

Just a quick fashion post from me today. I love the painterly quality of oriental designs and what better time to wear them than summer evenings? Out of everything here, I adore the Kimono the most. It's such a simple piece, yet could easily dress up or down an outfit in an instant - it's a keeper!

Fashion Post | Life's Peachy

As usual, on Friday's I bring you a quick fashion post. Last weeks was mint and this weeks is peach. Personally I prefer to wear peachy colours as they seem to suit most skin tones. I find mint and yellows often wash me out (they somewhat reflect onto my skin, making me a nice shade of ill).

Coveting This Week: Quiz Clothing

As I often have on a friday (bar last week - I posted it on thursday), I'm bringing you another outfit post. I like this little trend I have running and what I like even more is the excuse to trawl through clothes sites all in the name of 'research'. This week I'm focusing on Quiz Clothing, as they have a massive selection of awesomely priced clothes.

Coveting This Week: Sugarhill Boutique

 I'd say that all in all, a good 90% of my time is spent searching through clothes websites. There's something about looking at all the pretty clothes I can't afford that's just so addictive. As far as addictions go, mine's (reasonably) okay, so I'll share with you my current addiction of Sugarhill Boutique.

 If I wasn't trying to whittle this down to a few simple pieces, my 'must haves' list would probably be the entire website. They have everything from chic to cute and quirky. How can you not love it!? So after scrolling through the endless amounts of (awesome) clothes, I think I finally picked my 'must haves'.
