Review: Glossybox - February 2014

It's February and that means one theme and one theme only, Valentines Day! With that, the box has been appropriately matched to the day of love (be that for a partner, family member or friend).

This is probably the best Glossybox I have been given so far. There was so much variety and best of all, mostly full sized items and very few body care products. I was getting really bored of constantly being given sample moisturisers, so this has made a lovely change. I seriously hope that Glossybox keep this up. I'd considered stopping my subscription, but now I'm having second thoughts...

Debate For The Masses: Too young?

I want to write about something that's been on my mind for a couple of days, and while still beauty related, is not my typical post.

*gasps* A debate!?

The other day I went to a family friends in the morning. On said morning, their 13 year old daughter came down sporting a very heavy set of made up eyebrows. Her father then said - and very harshly in my honest opinion - 'what have you done to your eyebrows? They look like slugs!' To me as a guest, it felt uncomfortable, but even more so, I felt for the girl who was obviously only trying to experiment with some makeup, just... not very well.

Review: Maybelline Baby Skin Primer

A couple of posts ago, in my Mini Haul, I mentioned a new product on the high street market. Maybelline's Baby Skin Primer is the new addition to what seems to me, a growing collection of 'Baby' products.

While it is a primer, I think this fact was probably the last thing I found out about it. The packaging has bold lettering splashed across it saying 'Pore Eraser'. I find the idea kind of funny because you can't erase pores, but I get what it's saying. It will reduce the appearance of them while wearing the product.

It also (very boldly, in my opinion), claims that you could wear this without foundation. Which I'm sure would be the case for anyone with perfect skin, but sadly, not for me if I'm having a 'bad skin day'.
